Get fired up — and learn s’more about voting in Wisconsin!
We are all frustrated with the continuing infringements on our freedoms — the upheaval caused by the Supreme Court’s reversal of the Roe v Wade decision and the loss of our access to abortions; the easing up of gun restrictions by the same conservative Supreme Court; and our own state’s supreme court supporting the gerrymandering in Wisconsin’s legislative districts that limits the voice we have in our state politics. How do we bring about change?? We work to make change with our VOTE! Our voices at the polls are more important now than they’ve ever been.
Join the National Council of Jewish Women’s Milwaukee Section and The Movement Voter Project for a fun evening enjoying summer treats outdoors, connecting and learning from others who share your passion. Then view the 45 minute long documentary, “Suppressed and Sabotaged: The Fight to Vote” about recent states’ efforts to restrict voter access to the polls. After the movie, join us to enjoy S’Mores around the fire pit!
